Have you checked Gumtree some good deals there. I got an unlocked 5S for 440 a few weeks ago. What seem to be happening is many are taking their upgrades but keeping their old phones and selling the new one.

I got mine from a guy who runs his own business and had eight upgrades due from his carrier. He had them all unlocked by the carrier at 20 each and then sold them.
