I did come across a thread mentioning this but it was about 3 years old so i'm guessing things have moved on since then.

My question is; What is the difference (%wise) on a MBP with each of this discounts? considering that that I will only be able to get the basic student discount

The MBP will have these upgrades:
4GB RAM
250GB 7200rpm HDD
Apple Remote
VGA adaptor

The ADC Student discount costs £50

Thanks in advance

I think the percentage for the ADC is about 20% (this is not from experience but just other threads i think its the 21st post by kastenbrust)

The normal student price is 10% :)

Using the Univsersity computer/internet I get a 20% :D

Im wanting a mac pro and this is prices i get:
Normal - £1712.00
Student not on campus - £1575.50
Student on Campus using University internet - £1399.00
ADC discount - ????

So I would say try to order it from your university, cos thats wat im gona do once they bring out the new mac pros.

Hope this helps

Yeah im wanting one too but there taking ages to bring them out.

I think it might be some time in march or april? from just reading the mac pro threads

Thats right, Student discount is 10% but very easy to get with no cost to you.

Student ACD is 20% but costs £50. ($99) and can ONLY BE USED ONCE!! :(

Normal deveoper is 20% but can be used 3 times.

Thanks very much, i'm considering buying when the core i7's come out..

The laptops aren't using Core i7.

I think it might be some time in march or april? from just reading the mac pro threads

Yeah... the Mac Pro's chip... called Gainestown. Which isn't anything like the laptop chips that won't be out until October at the earliest.
