I'm wondering whether she is now eligible for a 3G iPhone, she rang up and they transferred her on to the iPhone tariff.

the upgrade is for people who had an iPhone contract before the announcement of the 3g iPhone. When I called and asked anyone who transfered renews there contract for 28 months. Just call them and hold them to what they tell you. They seem to tell everyone differnt things.

when she transferred to the iPhone tariff when I gave her my old iPhone. They didn't extend her contract.
