I'm most likely going to replace my 15 pro with a 17 pro at the end of the month and one of my friends is interested in taking the 15.

It's always been in a case so looks perfect, but has been dropped a few times in the last 2 years.

Although I've told him about the drops, I'd like to reassure us both that the phone is 100%, apart from usual battery wear.

Will a genius appt check the phone over for me - even though there's no issues that I'm aware of?

The most obvious area would seem to be the camera module - but I'm far from a power user there, so wouldn't necessarily be aware of any less obvious problems.

I've just made an appointment next week, but the person on the e-chat couldn't confirm whether the Genius Bar would / wouldn't run it through diagnostics for me and the round trip is a bit long - to find out they're unwilling to - for whatever reason.

Anyone done anything similar?
