As per the title, what do/will you do?

Here's my current situation/musings:

With my contact due to expire, and the 7 on the horizon I've been looking in to the best way (cheapest) to buy a new iPhone. I've got a 6 currently, but definitely want to move to a Plus model next.

The rumors of the 7 are leaving me uninspired, and I can get a pretty good contract via uSwitch for iPhone 6S Plus 16GB (size not an issue for me)
- £37pm (12GB data, ulmtd calls/texts)
- £85 up front

which is the total equivalent cost of a 0% finance offer for the phone plus a £14pm sim only contract

Last time I bought via GiffGaff paying 9% APR plus a £20pm SIM which seemed decent at the time, but not now.

Ideally, I'd love the Apple Upgrade program to come to the UK

Buying outright is great if you can do, I can't bring myself to, even though I could afford it. Which sim deal do you then use?

Buy outright

Sell my iPhone 6s Plus a few days before the event and get a lot more for it. Will rock with my S7 edge as my daily driver till the 7 plus arrives

Will be moving to sim only going forward when my contract expires in 2017

iPhone 7 might not look as good right now but will see as more rumours come out
