Hi,

let's have some fun, how much do you reckon the iPhone 5C will cost in the UK!!.

I guess,

Off contract £300...
On contract £99 + £29 contract..

If it gets sold in countries other than China, I'd assume around the £400 mark in the UK.

Surely they wouldn't have sent out the invitations with all the coloured dots and "brighten up your day" if the coloured phones were going to be China only.

£400 sounds steep to me. I wouldn't expect to pay more than £300-£350, but then we always seem to get screwed on price in the UK. Usually the £ price is the same or higher than the $ price even though £1 is almost $1.60.

what would be the point? I hear the samsung mini s3 is selling for £99... SURELY the IP5C. they'll sell it in the UK to combat this and have more money from the app store..

We will have to wait until the 10th to have exact information. Some websites and journalists citing their own sources seem to point to a preference towards China as the main country that will see the 5C getting sold.
While reasonable, there is no exact information on the countries the 5C will get released in, and furthermore, we have no information on the 5C itself. We don't know even if that's the real name.
Your thoughts about the possibility the 5C won't get sold only in China are as reasonable as the opposite, since we don't have that kind of evidence.

£346 for 16 GB.

Not really sure about on contract since the variation is so large - £99 on a £25 contract on Three may be £99 on a £50 contract on EE or Vodafone.

I'm guessing £349.

If it's any less I can't imagine it'll have the current iPhone 5 spec. Even the 4S is still £449.

i'm really hoping they release it on the UK market..

I broke my last phone and on the Saturday just gone broke another one... so lol..

UK prices include VAT. American prices do not include sales tax.

Good point, although even if you take off the 20% VAT prices are still quite a lot higher here. This was especially true a few years ago when it was about $1.85 to £1. I bought my first iPod Touch in New York a few years ago on my honeymoon (went to Apple Store about 3am on the way to the airport!)

mac rumours said that the logic board is the same.

if they sell it at 269 then, i believe they/ll sell like hot cakes..

349-399 methinks if its 399 still cheaper then iPhone 5 at 529. If we look at the mini vs the large ipad difference, we could be looking at 399.

I thought my guess of 429 was on the upper end of what they would do.

C does not mean cheap. That's fer sure....

Yeah I tell you what, Apple can sod off with that kind of pricing.

Ridiculous, honestly.

£469????
