So I managed to drop and crack the screen of my 3 day old iPhone 6, and it was in a case too. Anyway, I tried to sort it online, but they can't proved a loan phone. I went I to my local store (Touchwood) and they couldn't repair it instore, and if they could the price was 'about £200'. I told him I was quoted £85, but he said that doesn't include VAT. My only option was a replacement for £199. The Genius wasn't very helpful. I left the store with original iPhone in hand!
Apple online can do it for the £85, but that leaves me without a handset for a few days.
Is my experience similar to others who have had screen replacement issues?
