iPhone 6(S)/Plus UK iPhone for USA Verizon use??

Hi, so I'm on the way to the UK for 2 weeks and left my phone at home in the USA. I'll be needing a phone while I'm there.

I'm wanting to buy a used iPhone SE or 6s that will be compatible with a CDMA based Verizon account when I get back to the US.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to look for in a phone to ensure it will be compatible with CDMA and Verizon when I get home? I hear that Sprint CDMA is not compatible so it's not as simple as it looks like it should be.

In past trips I have been able to just drop a UK SIM card in and it worked great. Not sure what tech to be looking for in the new phone.

i believe all 6s models have qualcomm so it will work.

None of them will work. Apple locks out CDMA in software on GSM models to avoid having to pay the patent licensing fees unnecessarily.
