just starting a new thread after discussing insurance in the UK iPhone thread.

So far I'm insured with Endsleigh, costs £6.95 a month, and covers me for anything.

Looking at moving to American Express's my essentials.

Also have Applecare+

What insurance are you guys using on your iPhones, and have you had to make a claim with them before?

As I'm insuring both my MacBook and iPhone for Uni, I guess Endsleigh is the way to go.

Yeah, gotta admit they're pretty good, but Amex looks better, covers all my gadgets in the house for £13 a month!

I don't like the lack of info on their site and it looks 'cold'. It doesn't feel very sales-pagey to me!

I had insurance through Endsleigh and when I was unfortunately burgled in December 2010, they had a brand-new, replacement MacBook Pro posted out to me in time for Christmas. I couldn't fault them for a second.

Worth having a look at your bank as they often offer competitive deals on phone insurance whilst also including other benefits in their account 'packages'.

Barclays have a Tech Pack you can insure a phone up to £1000.

It costs £7.50 a month, I'm going with that.

Also have gadget insurance up to £750 if you need it, with the tech pack.
