I think the UK iPhone is actually smaller (ie thinner) than the US counterpart. I tried to install an InvisibleSHIELD this morning, the front goes on fine, but the backing doesn't fit because all the cut outs miss completely (I aligned the camera hole up first), all the edges overlap onto the front and the corners don't fit either.

Which makes me wonder what else has been changed internally for Europe......

i can't believe i invested the time to look this up, but the specs on the US and UK sites both have the the same information.

Of course there's no chance that it could be that the shield (or at least the one you have) just doesn't fit very well ...

They must be making different versions then, because I've just stuck a vernier on mine and it's 11.6mm.

Now, are you sure your calipers are in calibration?

Mine are in cal, for the next 3 weeks, and I measure 11.63mm.

;)
