(UK) iPhone - No Visa Electron/Solo cards accepted?

I'm hearing people say that you can't use Visa Electron and Solo cards to pay for the iPhone on Friday.

Does anyone know if this is true?. I'm 16, so only have a Visa Electron and Solo.

I think its NOT true as on the 02 website, it seas credit/debit cards accepted, and Visa Electron and Solo are two of the most popular debit cards.

Can anyone clarify?. Thanks.

You need to be 18 to have a contract though and you can only get a non solo/visa electron when you are 18 so they won't let you use them
