Am i right in thinking that the 3G iPhone is only under warranty for one year?

If so what happens if the phone becomes faulty after 12 months but you have a contract for 18 months?

Do you pay full price for a new one? Or at the subsidized price?

How much is Apple care for the iPhone?

No such thing as Apple Care for iPhone at the moment, I think after the 12 months of warranty It's £130 for a replacement iPhone. (Well for a replacement original iPhone it was £130), but you may be able to get the battery replaced for around £60 I think.

Ok,
I have applecare on my MacBook Pro would that cover the iPhone ?

What would happen if i lost my iPhone? Would they still charge £130?

Im sure there was AppleCare for the original iPhone.

Also, most plans cover the phone for the length of the contract.

ye, you can pay an extra £7.50 a month incase you lose/have stolen/break your iphone. that way they give you a new one for free (im 90% on this, not entirely sure), but you then have to take out another 18 month contract. its basically to protect you so you're not paying for another 6 months, or however long you have left, of your contract for nothing.
