UK iPhone with o2 german contract

i have a question.

Can i buy a uk iphone and use it with a german o2 contract sim?

The only thing i have to do is to jailbreak the iphone right?
Works it with a brandnew iphone with ootb 1.1.2 and BL4.6?

You asked for an idea. There's two.

I think the Turbo Sim might be your best bet but the free hackint0sh instructions have an outside chance of working.

The two ideas are nice but when i buy an iphone in the uk i have to be sure that it work without turbosim. Otherwise i can buy an iphone in germany and can save the shipping and so on.
