UK iPod Educational Rebate

Hey,

I just became aware of the educational rebate available for students giving money off an iPod Touch well very much money back. When i purchased my Mac on the first of July at the Apple Store Milton Keynes in the UK i wasnt told or made aware of this promotion at all, even though i obtained a student discount. I believe you have to purchase both the iPod and the mac at the same time, is this correct? Is there anything i could do now? seeing as i wasnt told would Apple do anything about it? I contacted Live support they said ring up and they understand i wasnt told this information, but obviously i cant ring seeing as its sunday.

What do you guys think?

you have to purchase them at the same time and they have to be on the same invoice. Apple won´t fix it now 6 weeks later i am afraid. You´re out of luck i believe. Maybe the store manager can give you a discount if you explain, but the promo is tough luck.
