My powerbook G4 has somehow got the keys for the bracket symbols (these things above the numbers) on the 8 and 9 buttons instead of on the 9 and 0 buttons. Also there is no * printed above the 8. Anything I can do about this? All other keys are correct... including the £. Can I change the wrong keys? If so, how? (this is a repost owing to typos by me).

Go into international and change your keyboard settings to match the one you have. For example my PB12 is a US model, but I tell it is a UK keyboard so I have a £ sign ;)

alt-3 or option-3 is the £ sign on a US keyboard. shift alt 2 is is the € sign. :)

brackets

Yes I tried that thanks, but it made no difference. It looks like a British keyboard, I have £ in the right place... But the bracket symbols are displaced one space to the right..

That's how it's supposed to be
