As many of us , i got a message from O2 on my Orange phone that my number will be transferred on 16.11 which is 6 days away. This means I have to carry both iPhone and my Treo 680 for a week.

Treo has a function to redirect all calls to another number. Should I redirect all calls to my new number and (as i have already done) hide my number when I make calls from iPhone until the number is transferred?

Does anyone know if redirection is charged extra by Orange (my old contract)?

It'll be the same charge as making a phone call from the old number to the new number, so you'll be effectively paying for incoming calls. If you get a lot of them then it's probably not worth it.

and I guess this is probably not included in free minutes on the old Orange contract but charged extra, per min call?
