Hi,

Well I looked forward to tethering on my MacBook but maybe not anymore...

http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/internet.html

Am i correct that to use tethering I will have to pay extra? I am on the £45 per month contract, but to use tethering I will have to have a bolt on?! What a con...the iPhone was sold on O2 as 'Unlimited' data subject to fair use...as long as I don't 'unfairly' use the network, then surely tethering should be free! or have I got the wrong end of the stick here?

Also bit dissapointed that O2 want £6 a Mb in Europe when Vodafone are removing roaming charges..I thought the European parliament had passed a law to reduce these absurd prices.

Thanks for any help...really disappointed if O2 want more for tethering.

have a look around and you can get tethering for free even with the the 3.0 released today

Mine works a charm ;)

Yea the £15 bolt on is a joke if you already are paying £45! I know how you feel...

I cant find how to unlock it for free with 02 though...
