UK o2 sim on Jailbroken unlocked 3g iPhone

I have a unlocked jailbroken 3G iPhone that I use in Thailand and everything works great.
I have just arrived in the UK and bought a o2 pay and go sim card and now use it in my iPhone, the problem is, is that I cant access email or the web. I get a message that I do not have a cellurr package. anyone have a way around this.

Just did that and it is working fine, it also seems to not be charging me to access the internet and get push mail...........how good is that

that's awesome if it isn't charging you. i'd be careful for a few days and then look at your internet usage, just to make sure that charges haven't been delayed, if you catch my drift!
