Hey there,

I'm referring to this page on the O2 website - http://shop.o2.co.uk/new-iphone/aboutsimswap.html (Existing customer with no Micro SIM)

I'm just wondering what this actually means? And what it will do?

I'm buying my iPhone 4 from the Apple store, SIM free. Then I want to use my current SIM in it but obviously it's not a Micro SIM.. Is this what the instructions will allow me to do? Turn my current SIM into a Micro SIM, kind of?

Cheers.

It will allow you to transfer your current SIM profile, i.e. tariff, mobile number etc. onto your new micro-SIM.

Considering the name of the thread is swapping a SIM to a microSIM you would assume it does that..

basically, you grab a microSIM from o2 tomorrow or any day up to Thursday (even after Thursday if that floats your boat), then that website effectively ports your old sim to a new smaller one (keeping your info the same) the old one becomes inactive, the new one active (obviously)
