I've been lucky enough to pick up a couple of iPads and an iPhone from the American base I'm working on, but they come with the US slide-in adapter for the power supplies.

Is there anywhere I can buy the UK adapters ??

TIA

Yes, Apple. They sell international plug kits that come with every single variation of the side in adapters.

You can use any simple adapter you purchase from electronics stores. They don't even need to convert the current. I believe Apple's iPad/iPhone adapters use 100-240V, so a straight adapter should work. If you require other travel adapters, then the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit might be a better solution.
