Seems like the Apple Watch Series 2 isn't the cheapest. http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/buy-watch/apple-watch

I was set on pre-ordering, but now not so sure. £400 for a 42mm seems very steep. Saying that, come the 9th I'll probably be on the constant postage tracking refresh like everyone else. Which model is everyone thinking?

Am I wrong or are the straps also way more expensive thanks to the dropping pound?

I may be wrong, but were they not £39 rather than £50? I'm annoyed as I wanted gold case with a midnight blue band, which is no longer a default option.

I am pretty sure the sport and woven nylon went up by 10 quid, that is a lot of money for very little material, the stainless steel (steal in this case) also rocketed in price.

How has the stainless steel milanese loop option gone up £100??? That seems absolutely bonkers!

Sport and nylon bands up £10, Milanese silver, classic buckle up £20...I need fact all have went up! Also the cer,AFC edition is £1249 and $1249 so that's strange.

Yes they were £39. I am not upgrading my watch....too much money for a few improvements. I do have 6 Apple bands but lately have been buying third party ones...sports style....and there is very little, if any, difference.

To be honest, the series 1 seems the more tempting option at the moment. A far more justifiable proposition, especially considering it has the same processor but £100 cheaper.

It's not just the watches. iPhone uk prices have jumped as well. I think the watches are actually slightly cheaper than the equivalent launch prices for series one.

You were getting $1.55 to the Pound this time last year, now it's around the low $1.30s.

The financial uncertainty around Brexit, both before and after the vote hasn't helped a great deal.

Yes, I really want another nylon strap but I'm not sure I want it fifty quid's worth!
[doublepost=1473322834][/doublepost]And if I decided to get the new watch want stainless steel as a contrast to my current one but it'd come with a white sport strap which I already have. Boo to that!
