Hi All,

I have a late 2013 Macbook Pro Retina with the 750m graphic card. Over the last 6 moths, there have been graphical glitches showing on the screen that requires a reboot of the machine.

The laptop was purchased in December 2013. Therefore it is outside of the 1 year Apple Warranty.

However, most electronics sold in the EU have a 2 years manufacturer warranty. and according to Apple own website, we have 6 years from date of delivery to claim warranty service.

http://www.apple.com/uk/legal/statutory-warranty/

I would be grateful if any UK members have experience of getting Apple to repair their laptop outside of the 1 year Apple warranty.

Just want to have some idea of my position before contacting Apple.

P.S. I know there is a extended repair programme for 2012 and early 2013 retina Macbooks. But it does not cover the late 2013 model.

Many thanks
