UK - Return Black iPhone 4 for white upon release?

Im considering picking up the black iPhone 4 until the white one is avilable in the second half of July.

Does anyone know if this will be possible?

Im planning on getting it on an 18 month contract with o2

Im thinking of taking it out on contract then selling the black on eBay, then purchasing sim free white from Apple when launched and popping my o2 sim in.

Im going to need to pay to upgrade my contract regardless. I sold my 3GS on eBay for £365 and in total for me to pay out the rest of my contract and get the iPhone 4 on a £45 a month contract total cost would be £300

Then sell the black iPhone 4 prior to the release of the white ( I would imagine you could make just about the same retail price a few quid more or less.
