UK sale?

I was reading a topic about the Black Friday sale somewhere and a user from the UK posted saying that they had a similar sale on the 1st December for the UK's apple online store and apple stores, I'm just wanting to see if anyone knows anything about this or if there will/has been a sale recently in the UK.

I'm planning to buy a macbook pro now as i can't wait till January and if i find out that i bought it 5 days before a sale i would be extremely annoyed on top of the fact I'm buying it when it's about to be updated.

Also does anyone know if i do buy the macbook now and it is in fact updated in January will i get any money back or anything like that?

No, but promo codes work through the Refurb Store.
