Hi guys,

I live in Northern Ireland.

I am buying a MacBook Pro 13 inch 2.26GHz with an upgraded hard-drive of 250GB.

It says it will ship in three days.

If I order tomorrow, will I get it next week? And what would be the latest next week?

Thanks very much,
Jack

(also!! Would it be better to buy a hard drive or let Apple do it? - does it void the warranty?)

the length of shipping varies. But as you are from Northern Ireland then it will be faster than me (Scotland). I think apple UK ships from Ireland (not sure which part).

As for the HD, it is has been debated in this forum for very long time. Some apple shops or resellers will tell you it will void your warranty and some don't. Apparently technically it doesn't.

If you decide to replace it yourself. The safe thing is to make sure to put back the old HD if you required any repair service from apple (I mean, you need to make sure you are confident in putting it back exactly as it was if necessary)
