UK Siri not working in the US

Hey guys,

Quick question, I bought a 4s last week and have just landed in San Francisco and I just rolled over in my jet lagged state to use Siri but it still says that it only works in the US even though I am here! Anyone know why?

This is over the hotel wifi.
