UK siri question?

Why is the UK Siri male and why does he sound so strange compared to the US siri?

You can change the siri voice to female but this can cause issues with it understanding your uk accept !

I find the female siri voice muffled.

If your jailbroken then the tweak 'any voice' allows you many versions of siri voices.

i agree the mail voice doesn't sound as good as the female voice. However I've tried changing to US and it struggles to recognise you voice.

I don't understand why the voice we here has to be connected in any way to the accent it recognises. (At least for English)

Does Siri treat US English and UK English just as different as French and Japanese?
