UK Student discount+VAT refund

HI,

I am a PhD student leaving th country in December.

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a MBP with retina in store, get the student discount and student warranty and also claim the VAT back when I leave the country?

I have had varying responses from apple. One store said yes the other no.

THanks for any advice!
