Hi There,

I'm a sixth form student and i was wondering if i can benefit from the education discount in apple stores. I am eligible for an NUS card, does that mean that i can get the discount? Also am i able to benefit from the iPod student rebate now?

If i am eligible for the discount what do i need to take into the apple store to get it? i'm studying at my school and there is no acceptance sheet or anything like that.

Cheers, joe

Your best bet would be to give there sales team a phone and they will tell you the score

you would qualify. phone or use the apple he store on your college network
If the 6th form qualify, how about a FE College? My OH works there, also part time lecturing (but not in job title, actually a 'placement officer') and has enroled as student night class). What are the chances of getting th 14% off a Macbook and £58 applecare?:)

If you can, try to get the "Higher Education" (HE) discount. To do this you'll need to visit the store from a university computer. This gives you about double the normal student discount.

I'm not in college, i'm a sixth form student at my High School, sitting my A levels next year.

thanks tiredhorses, i phoned the sales team and they didn't know what 6th form was!!! i said the bit after GCSE's, still clueless. Ah well, i'd trade awesome computers for decent sales team any day :D iMac 24" on its way!

Cheers, Joe
