Hi, did a search before posting and couldnt find anything. I put my serial into apple website and it came back with "We're sorry, the number you have provided cannot be found in our records". Is there a problem at apples end, or do they not create a warranty for unactivated/unlocked iPhones? Seems a bit odd to me and apple have certain laws they have to abide by.

Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

umm there must be a warranty for unactivated phones...

Unlocked phones void the warranty because your modifying how the phone works etc!

In the UK you are covered by the sale of goods act.
This is what I get if I enter my serial number for my unactivated iphone:
"Our records indicate this product has not been activated. Learn how to activate your iPhone.
Please note that warranty service is not dependent on activating your iPhone.
For more information, please contact us."
