You can buy your insurance at the same time as your iPhone in an O2 store. Alternatively you can call 2427 from your iPhone within 28 days of purchase. Insurance will added for a 12 month period at a cost of £120 which will need to be paid for in advance.

What if I already have an O2 Insure policy?
Then you don't need to do anything. When you buy your iPhone 3G in an O2 store, we will update your insurance policy to cover your iPhone 3G instead of your previous handset.

If you've got one of our other O2 Insure policies, you need to upgrade to O2 Insure Premier, as only Premier covers the iPhone. Ask in store for details.

This means we CAN get insurance for #10 instead of the #7.50 I was paying, it does however say that the insurance is transferable so why are they telling us that it is not!
