I would test this myself by I don't have a cellular iPad on hand.

Does anyone know if a Vodafone UK nano sim, original received with the iPhone 6, would work in an iPad for data services? The sim has plenty of data and is on a 4G Red plan.

I remember that this never used to work, but I'm wondering if things have changed and if it's now possible?

Anyone have experience of this?

I'm not sure on Vodafone but my three mobile sim won't work in my cellular iPad.
If I try to use the Internet with it I get a page telling me I cannot use this sim in this device.

I have a friend with a Vodafone mobile sim I'll ask him over the weekend if I can try it and report back.

That would be great, much appreciated.

Out of curiosity, is your 3 sim a pay as you go or contract, and do you have tethering in your plan?

My Three sim is a contract one on the old "one plan" that has unlimited data and tethering.

I tried the Vodafone sim and put in the correct IPN and had no joy. It wouldn't even load up a "not allowed" page or anything. It showed full signal strength too.
