OK, this is a bit of a long shot but I am really hoping someone can help me here.
When the video iPod came out I bought the Clarion VRX868RVD stereo for my car http://www.caraudio4less.net/clarion-vrx868rvd-in-dash-dvd-system-ex-display-323-p.asp
An amazing stereo, which allowed me to totally control my iPod using the touch screen, and even play videos through it which always impressed people! Oh yeah, it also charged the thing!
Anyways, trying to connect the iPhone to it, it does not recognise the iPod feature on the phone, and videos do not show up on the screen.
Yes I know, blah blah blah... What I want to do is buy the 3g iPhone, have complete control of the iPod features and videos from the touch screen, make and receive calls, charge the phone, and use the Sat Nav features!!!! This is my ideal set up, but does anyone think this will be possible, or have any advice? Does anyone else use this head unit or anything similar?
