I am looking for the best system, incl. sound for my home office. I am not sure if mac pro, imac or xserve is best for me. It needs 2 monitors and macbook pro connectivity. any advice appreciated!! i have all the ususal apple toys already

space is good and money is not the ultimate deciding factor
thanks...

What kind of MBP connectivity? File sharing?

What space? HD space? Physical space?

iMac is nice but Mac Pro has more HD space and upgradeability

the house is already on a network for file transfers. I have room under the desk for a mac pro. the MBP i want connected so i can use the big screens if i wish. disk storage shouldnt be a problem. I am thinking of a NAS system

Then it's up to iMac and Mac Pro... Mac Pro is due an update soon so I'd get it after it has been updated if money ain't a problem. Otherwise, jump for the 27" i7 iMac

What he said.

If you get the iMac 27" you can use it as an external monitor for your MacBook Pro as well I believe.
