I am a huge fan of the series, with all three films, the Revisited DVD, Animatrix, Enter the Matrix PS2 game, and al but one of the MacFarlane figures from both series (never could find a Twin II, and I'm not paying $75 for one off eBay).

The collector's edition with the cool case and Neo bust looks like a winner to me. Here's a pretty decent review of the total package. Worth it just for the remastered original Matrix film, if you ask me.

I want the Revisited discs. The original Matrix one was reasonable, but the production stuff on the 2-disc Reloaded and Revolutions was AWFUL marketing crap!

I don't admire the movies much, but as a technical exercise they are to be considered. At the Effects and Animation Festival last year in Syd, the two Deputy VFX Sup's of the sequels did a half day presentation and some of the stuff they showed was excellent. If any of that ends up on these new Revisited editions, then they will be worth it.

The Bits are about to post their review in the next day or two.

I loved the first Matrix movie, but thought the second and third was disappointing. I already have the DVD for the first movie, and have no plans to buy this set. But it does look cool for the Matrix fan.
