Hi,
I have AW Ultra 1 since October 22, the battery is fine for a day (I charge the phone every night anyway), and I never use the cellular option.
I can upgrade to series 10 46mm (I really like the look annd the thickness of series 10) and it will cost me around 100 euros.

Is it worth the upgrade or should I wait for next years (if they will have a blood pressure monitor I’ll upgrade again for sure).

I’ll be happy to hear your thoughts.

I wouldn't if it was me as I prefer the look of the Ultra, plus the sapphire screen is a must for me. I also use cellular.

I have the SP02 on mine as do all apple where I'm from. UK. It's not a feature I'd care about if I didn't have it though.

I have an Ultra 1. The weather app is a little slower than I'd like, but that's my only real complaint. I wouldn't trade the toughness or looks of the Ultra 1 for the Series 10.

You obviously like the S10 so our tastes differ.

All the same, likely with the S11 there will also be an Ultra 3, and if you also like the Ultra 1 looks then the Ultra 3 might be worthy of consideration too.

So no, I'd wait it out, personally.

Unless the Ultra stops working, I would wait. We are nearly halfway through the Series 10 cycle so if the Ultra stopped working/was lost, then sure - get a S10 instead of an Ultra 2. But I'd stay with the Ultra and decide in the fall. If it turns out that the likely Series 11 is not worth an upgrade to a Series 10, that gives you time in September after the announcement to buy a Series 10.

For me I'd never get a Series watch that didn't have the same battery life as an Ultra 2 does now, just because I always keep watches a minimum three years, so battery health is always in the 80s by the time I upgrade. If I bought a Series watch it would be a stainless/edition version, unless Apple adds sapphire crystal to the aluminum models going forward. I'd never buy another without sapphire myself. (Well, I keep an SE as a backup watch, just in case something happens to my regular watch, but that's just to allow myself to track fitness/workouts etc. until I can get another watch.)

But... that's me.
