Ultra 2 2024 version

I'm wondering if Apple makes the 2024 Ultra 2 somewhat different to the 2023 version.
I wouldn't mind buying the old one since it's on sale at different stores here in Switzerland.
But on the Apple website, when i choose the "old" model, it says "delivery september 20". But this should be in stock, so I'm not sure if the "secretly" change something for the newer version.

any thoughts?

No change to the watch but all the orders placed now come with a new band colour or material. The band is the probable reason as you can not choose an old version.

Since I don't have an Ultra now, I didn't know about different bands

Engineering may have made a tweak here and there over the last 12 months but no performance or hardware changes
