I’ve never experienced that before watchOS 26 update.
Have you rebooted watch and phone?View attachment 2561331Ultra 2 left unused on a drawer drains way more battery than normal? After the first time few days ago I gave it another try. Next 3/4 nights were pretty normal but here we go again. You may ask why I didn’t put it on a charger. Well. I am not a fan of charging it to 100% if I don’t have to. Beside I can take my watch for a weekend without any charger and I don’t want to see dead battery at the morning.

When I wear my U2 for sleep tracking I lose around 10% of battery. So something is obviously going on, did you install 26.02 yet?iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 26 is pretty ok. I didn’t see any draining. I performed hard reset on iPhone but not on Apple Watch. I gave it a chance to index everything. I thought it was enough when next 3/4 night were fine. Unfortunately I was wrong. Today I hard reset AW and we will see.
Most app have background activity turned off. Not all of them but nothing has changed since previous watchOS. I don’t add any app etc.
With my U2 sleep tracking has always used around 8-10%, with my S7 around 15-20%.To be honest 10% isn’t that bad. What was previous result for you? My watch has been losing 6-7% with low battery mode and laying on a drawer.
Yes I just installed 26.0.2 but also hard reset it. So I won’t know what helped of any of that.
obviously usage models will be different, what I can tell you is that I charge my 2 yr old U2 to 100%, wear it for ~ 38hrs (without taking it off, yes, I wear it in the shower, and yes, used for sleep tracking) and my battery life at the end of those 38hrs is ~ 30-35% (was better when new and before watchOS 26), that includes 2 workouts of ~ 150 minutes total. so that averages to ~ just under 2% per hour. And I do not have cellular enabled.Yesterday everything is fine but I will keep an eye on that. I updated to 26.0.2 and did hard reset as mentioned before.
For now it looks like that my Apple Watch drains 3-4% per 2h. It means 50h-66h without workout (I am sick right now so I can’t check this one). Mostly in range of WiFi. Is it good or not…not bad for sure. Maybe even regular result.
If you’re not using it, turn WiFi off in watch settings and see if that helps someHere we go again. Latest watchOS. Performed hard reset. And again 2/3 night with regular 7/8% drainage and then boom nearly 30% the next day. I will call Apple because something is off and now idea what it can be
Did you do any long runs or races with the Apple Watch Ultra?View attachment 2561331Ultra 2 left unused on a drawer drains way more battery than normal? So how long did you race or ride with your Apple Watch Ultra 2?I did some cycling or runs with ultra 2 but what’s is your point? There was no clear pattern why it drains more this day or another.
anyway. It looks like a tip from technician helped. I didn’t see any extended draining.
I didn't do any race or ride during the same day when AW was draining over night. So how long did you race or ride with your Apple Watch Ultra 2?
Was low power mode used?
Sleep tracking? Do you track workouts on a third party app like Nike Run Club or Strava, or use first party workout app? Usually with my series 6 it drains more on Nike Run Club if used alone without starting the run from my iPhone, over fitness+ or regular workout app.I didn't do any race or ride during the same day when AW was draining over night.
And yes I am using low power mode during workout.
Running beta watchOS 26.1, or public release? Here we go again. After two weeks my problem appeared again.
