I also have a gap on my Ultra 2 (<0.5mm), but I would have thought its normal since the screen and casing are not made of 1 continous material? I think the important thing is that the gap should be constant all around the bezel and very small, I really didn't notice it until you mentioned it! lol

It's not constant at my watch. It's exactly the same as the picture I posted. Only on the right side :)

And the question is, is this really necessary? Since all Ultra 2's which I have seen in videos do have the same gap on the right side.
My Ultra 2 does not have the same issue (uneven gap size) and I bet the videos you saw are from a minority of Ultra 2 owners....people only post stuff when they have something to complain about right? If this issue was affecting **EVERY** Ultra 2 out there, then I can assure you this would be big news and the likes of macrumors would be making a big song & dance about it. Just return it & get it replaced. Even better, if you have an apple store nearby just take it to them and ask for their opinion.

Today my new Ultra 2 is arriving. Hope this one is all right..

I cannot see a gap on mine, but I have not inspected it with my phone's camera in macro mode.
However, I've warn it several times in the shower with no ill effects.

I checked the Apple Store today and I noticed a tiny gap on ultra watch 2! I shot a macro pic of the gap!
Honestly, I think it’s all right because of the sealing underneath the screen and I’ve seen atleast a few devices with exactly the same gap.

Thanks for the picture!

Is this a new gap-gate?
