So my AWU2 had been recording sleep as expected until 4 nights ago, now it won't record it.

Funny thing is HRV and resting heart rate is being picked up which I find strange!

I haven't changed anything, sleep schedule on phone and watch, the setting record sleep with this Apple watch is on.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Edit: I did transfer the watch to another Iphone if that makes any difference, but like I said all settings still the same!

this may have changed in the current version, but I think you need sleep focus on for it to record sleep things
HRV and resting heart rate are not sleep things.
wrist temp is a sleep thing,

How did you “transfer” it? AFAIK it must be done thru un-pair and then pair with another phone, did you setup as new or restore?
In the Health app, under sleep, is the AW listed as a source?

I unpaired and repaired to new iphone as per Apple guidance. Restored from backup as I have done many times without issue. It seems my apple watch isnt showing as a source but it i have selected track sleep with Apple watch in the watch app under sleep!

Totally bamboozled.

And you have a sleep focus set?
Reboot both phone and watch.

Contact Apple, I’d suggest un-pairing and setting up as new
