I have been very pleased with my Apple Watch Ultra, and will probably hang on to it a while longer. Does anyone have experience with battery replacement on the Ultra?

As far as I know, they replace the whole device. According to Apple's website, it's $99 without AC+ likely needs to be under 80% capacity. With AC+, it's free.
As @xxFoxtail stated the watch has to be under 80% capacity for the replacement. Plus if you don't have AppleCare+, you will receive a replacement Ultra with SPo2 disabled unless you live outside the USA..
