Thanks. Yes it’s very slight on mine tooMines got a very slight wiggle, Ive had mine since launch and only just noticed it because of this post. It certainly doesn't feel abnormal on mine.
Looking forward to thatI’ve never noticed it before however in efforts to help in diagnosis…I just tried wiggling mine and with it worn on my wrist I don’t notice it but if I take the watch off and pinch the crown with my fingernails, I do feel a wiggle to it side to side. My co worker has an ultra as well, I’ll try his and report back.
Are we looking at a potential ‘Wiggle Gate’ ?
Sorry, just had to….
So his wiggled, and another co worker came over today who just bought it this week and it too wiggles.Looking forward to that![]()
As I said I also looked at the store on a display sample and it also wiggled so.. guess it's by design..So his wiggled, and another co worker came over today who just bought it this week and it too wiggles.
Mine is a day 1 buy, co worker 1 has had it about 2 weeks, and like I said third dude’s was super fresh, new.
I’m calling it an undesirable but normal characteristic of the design!
Mine too. The ultra is the 4th AW for me. But this one wiggles more than the series 5 I passed down to my wife and the series 3 I still have sitting on the dresser. Just weird! All the Apple Watches I’ve had, had some wiggle in the crown.
Note that I am talking about a very subtle, almost imperceptible, that is only noticeable if you pinch the crown between you índex finger snd your thumb.
As the Digital Crown is a mechanical button (to put it plain simple, as in fact it is a set of mechanical moving elements) this is inherent, unavoidable.
