This is probably a rhetorical question…

I currently have an Ultra 1 and use the Wayfinder and Modular Ultra watch faces—which I really like. I will be moving to a Series 10 (46mm), because I’ve had enough of the Ultra proportions.

I am assuming that other than the two new faces announced (reflections and the duo-like one), I won’t be able to use either of my preferred faces?

There is actually no way of knowing this before S10 models are in users‘ hands, and the screen of the 46 model would obviously be big enough, but I wouldn‘t hold my breath. Apple probably views those faces as „Ultra exclusive“, just like the Hermès watch faces are exclusive to those Watches.

This being said, if the Modular Ultra face does come to the 46 mm S10, that alone would make me upgrade. It‘s such a great face.

I think it's unlikely but really hope the Modular Ultra is available on the 46mm S10, it's my fave. Although I'm loving the new Flux face at the moment.

Just use snoopy it’s more fun.

It actually is pretty fun but the Apple Watch needs better watch faces in general still.

I just saw a video review that confirmed that the S10 does not get the Wayfinder and Modular Ultra faces. Bummer.

Thanks for the heads up. This is what I was expecting but it’s still disappointing for someone who has no need for the Ultra but prefers a screen with digital time and more complications.

So the only way we‘ll ever get those faces on the regular Series Watches will be when the Ultra gets discontinued (like we got the Nike faces on all Watches when that line ended). As the Ultra seems to be a success, we‘ll probably have to wait for a very long time …

At this point I don't think it's worth it to me to go back to an AWU for the more useful watch face. I use a Garmin for most of my workouts so I prefer having a thinner and lighter AW for day-to-day use.

I may need to just get better utilizing widgets. I like the widget that displays three complications. If I could add a second widget like this with three different complications that would do the trick.

It sucks because I really just want the 10 but the extra battery and watch faces keeps pulling me towards the Ultra 2

You're right, it does seem like a rhetorical question, but to clarify—unfortunately, the Wayfinder and Modular Ultra faces are currently exclusive to the Ultra models. The Series 10 will have its own set of new faces, including Reflections and the Duo-like one, but unless Apple decides to extend the Ultra-specific watch faces to other models (which hasn’t been announced), it looks like you won't be able to use those on the Series 10.

That said, the Series 10 might surprise you with some fresh features that could make up for it!
Nope :) I've found them on my Series 7.

What? You mean after the update you have the Ultra faces in a series 7? Really?
No, not the Ultra but that one described as "the Series 10 will have its own set of new faces, including Reflections and the Duo-likeone". They are not exclusive to S10.

Ahhhh yes yes, they are watch os 11 faces for all watches, including Ultra & Hermes. But I guess wayfinder / modular ultra stay just with the Ultra's (one of my reasons to stick with my Ultra 2...)
