Ultrafine 5k: any way to turn off screen manually?

Hi,

I think a power button was a major omission on the ultrafine 5k.
Is there a way to turn on the macbook pro screen alone but not the 5k screen while the macbook pro is connected to it?
There are plenty of times when I just want the charging abilities of the 5k but not its screen. Anyway to unlink the macbook screen on to the 5k screen on behavior?
