Ultraportable MBP wish

As we've been talking about this a lot recently I noticed this Acer machine that's just been released. Santa Rosa, 12.1"WS, nice price

I'd like Apple to release something like this. I don't think it's that far fetched.

I don't have a need for something that small, but I know many people do. A nicely equipped 12"er would be a great addition to the lineup, in my opinion. And as you just proved, it's entirely doable. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Yeah, this, except not frighteningly ugly. And also no tray-loading drive, TYIA.

The thing is butt ugly, of course. It's more the fact that the hardware exists in a config that could go in an Apple machine. There's quite a demand for something like that.
