Ultrasn0w Baseband traces

Hi,

I need to return my phone because of battery issues, does ultrasn0w leave any traces on the baseband or anywhere else? Can those be cleared? I was under the impression that updating the phone to the latest firmware would clear all traces. But it seems that since it doesn't update the baseband firmware it won't be cleared.

If you have restored / updated the phone to a clean firmware you will be fine. Don't worry yourself about the baseband. It's not a problem for you.

It's a issue if they can find it and refuse to give me a new one because of that. But if like you said, restoring to a clean firmware solves it I should be fine.

Updating the firmware also updates your baseband. And, restoring phone as new device removes all traces of JB and unlock.

Great, thanks. Just to be sure I put the device in DFU then restored as new.
