I've got an iphone 4, iOS 4.1, jailbroken w/limea1n and unlocked with ultrasn0w (latest version). I noticed that if I reboot my phone, it will sometimes refuse to connect to T-mobile and show the 'Searching...' dialogue and eventually give up on getting a signal. When this happens, the only thing that fixes this is another 1 or 2 reboots. Have any of you seen this weird behavior? Do you think that jailbreaking with GP would fix this?

Uninstall and reinstall ultrasn0w. See if that works.

I'm having the same issue with this eversince I upgraded to the custom 4.1 FW.This might be a bug...

What I have been doing is reinstalling ultrasn0w and then reboot my phone. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries before my T-mobile carrier shows up again.

I have the same problem at beginning. Try reset network and reboot the phone again and maybe remove the sim. It work for me with trying couple time...

This is normal with the old unlocks
? I assume its the same for the new ones?
The only tip i ever found for it was toggling airplane mode, waiting five seconds, and then turning it back on.

next thing i'll ask. What is your iphone 4's baseband?

Already tried both of these.
