Ultrasnow+Tmobile - Aftershocks..

Simple updated to 3.0, redsnow, ultrasnow. Working like a charm. No battery life issue like many posted. Did not install Icy and 3g is off.

Questions:

1. All my contacts etc are still in my phone. Everything remained. However, the App store icon has disappeared. Is this normal? How do i bring it back?

2. The only new icon that appeared with the upgrade was the voice recorder. Am i supposed to see anything else?

3. How do i activate MMS?

4. Any other apps to install after this upgrade? Any cool stuff?

1. Try a "reset home screen layout" in Settings>General>Reset, if that doesn't work, Check under restrictions in Settings>General>Restrictions to make sure all of the restriction toggles are set to "On", so all of your apps appear.
2. No, "Compass" is 3G S only, and those are the only two new home screen apps new in 3.0.
