Mods have been able to do it (on any thread of course) for quite some time, but I wasn't aware that regular users could do it to their own threads. Makes sense though.

Looks like a shortcut, but the OP has been able to edit the Thread title by going back to the original 1st post, advanced edit, then changing the title, for a while. Can help when the original OP's title isn't that helpful in describing what the thread is about.

I've been aware of the advanced edit for years, this was an accidental find. As far as the thread title, it got you to look, didn't it?
