Apple has picked up a new drama series called "Suspicion" for Apple TV+, which will feature well-known actress Uma Thurman in a starring role.

"Suspicion" is described as a "high-paced thriller" about the kidnapping of the 21-year-old son of a prominent American businesswoman, which is the role Thurman will take on.
Twenty-one-year-old Leo's abduction from a large, upmarket hotel in central New York is captured on video and goes viral. Swiftly, four British citizens staying at the hotel become the prime suspects. But are they guilty of anymore than being in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Along with Uma Thurman, the show will star Kunal Nayyar ("The Big Bang Theory"), Noah Emmerich ("The Americans"), Georgina Campbell ("Black Mirror"), Elyes Gabel ("Scorpion"), Elizabeth Henstridge ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."), and Angel Coulby ("Dancing on the Edge").

"Suspicion" is based on the award-winning Israeli series "False Flag," which Apple acquired the rights to adapt last year. The original Israeli series aired on Hulu in the United States.

Apple has several original TV shows in the works that are based on international series and books, including "Trying," "Slow Horses," "Masters of the Air," and "Pachinko."

Hmmm it was a great show. I fell off I think around season 3 or 4. I should probably try and get back into it.
The show failed when they failed to kill Damian Lewis end of season 1. Then they just got stuck in repetitious storylines.

Apple's putting out some great stuff. I don't make enough time for what I want to watch of it really. I've enjoyed Morning Show and Emily Dickinson a lot.
Both See and Servant weren't my cup of tea, but I agree on The Morning Show and Dickinson. Between those and For All Mankind and Mythic Quest, I am probably going to pay $49.99/year when my 1-year free subscription ends.

I just wish the TV app was better tailored for watching Apple TV+ contents.

Out of all her iconic roles, Poison Ivy was your favorite?
I know right?!? Sure, everyone has their druthers (gammy's favorite word), but Poison Ivy was pretty campy role in a pretty campy movie. Tarantino is a different kind of camp imo, but The Bride was arguably a much more substantial and memorable role. For me, even more memorable than Mia Wallace. But hey, if Poison Ivy's his thing... Poison Ivy's his thing.

This is awesome! Uma is a fave actor of mine and False flag was a great thriller. Can’t wait to see what Apple does with this.

This show sounds like the classic twilight zone episode "The Monsters are due on Maple Street" with a lot of finger pointing and wrong blaming. Smart to make it British people who are the subject of suspicion. Brits are very likable to American audiences, so it won't hit too close to home, with all the blaming of foreigners for various crimes that goes on nowadays.

hope it's better than truth be told. that was boring.
the first episode of amazing stories was very UNamazing too :(
